Zira Medical LLC
Website Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 27, 2026 · Last Updated: August 27, 2026
1. What This Policy Covers
Zira Medical LLC (“Zira,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a nationwide network of licensed clinicians. We do not sell, license, or operate any software platform, patient portal, mobile application, or electronic health record system. Our clinicians work inside the systems our clients already run.
This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information collected through ziramedical.com (the “Site”) and through our business communications with prospective and current clients.
This policy does not cover patient health information. When a Zira clinician evaluates a patient and, where clinically appropriate, prescribes treatment, the health information created in that encounter is protected health information (“PHI”) governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”) and by our Notice of Privacy Practices. If you are a patient, that Notice — not this policy — describes your rights.
Patients do not receive care through this Site. The Site has no patient login, no intake form, and no way to request treatment. Patients reach Zira clinicians only through the digital health platforms that engage us.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form, schedule a call, or correspond with us about a partnership, we collect the information you provide: your name, business email address, telephone number, company name, and whatever you tell us about your platform, the clinical categories you operate in, the states you serve, and your expected volume.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits, using cookies and similar technologies.
Information we do not want. Do not send patient information, medical records, or any PHI through the Site’s contact form or to our general email addresses. Those channels are not designed for PHI. Patient information should move only through the systems and channels established under your client agreement with Zira.
3. How We Use Information
We use this information to respond to your inquiry; to evaluate, negotiate, and administer client relationships; to arrange clinician licensure, credentialing, and integration for your programs; to invoice for completed consultations; to send you agreement and service notices and, where permitted, marketing communications; to operate, secure, and improve the Site; to understand which content is useful; to prevent fraud and abuse; and to comply with our legal obligations.
4. How We Disclose Information
We do not sell the personal information collected through this Site, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may disclose it:
- To service providers acting on our behalf — website hosting, email and scheduling tools, analytics, customer relationship management, payment processing, and our accountants and attorneys — under contracts limiting their use to those functions;
- In a corporate transaction, such as a financing, merger, or sale of assets, including during diligence, under reasonable confidentiality protections;
- For legal reasons, where we believe disclosure is required by law or legal process, or reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Zira, our clients, patients, or others; and
- With your direction or consent.
Disclosure of PHI is governed separately by HIPAA, our Notice of Privacy Practices, and the written agreements between Zira and its clients.
5. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your communication with us is no longer secure, contact us at info@ziramedical.com.
6. Retention
We keep information collected through the Site for as long as needed for the purposes described above — generally, for the duration of our relationship with you plus the period required by our contractual, tax, accounting, and legal obligations — and then delete or de-identify it. Retention of patient records is governed by state medical record retention law and addressed in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
7. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies necessary to operate the Site, plus analytics that help us understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may impair the Site.
We do not use the Site to sell personal information or to serve cross-context behavioral advertising. Where a browser or device sends an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, we treat it as an opt-out request to the extent applicable law requires.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to confirm whether we process personal information about you and to access it; to obtain a portable copy; to correct inaccuracies; to request deletion; to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling; and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email info@ziramedical.com or write to the address in Section 11. We will verify your request, ordinarily by confirming control of the email address on file. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows; we may ask for written authorization. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying with the word “Appeal,” and we will respond within the period your state’s law requires.
These rights do not apply to PHI. Patient rights in health information are described in the Notice of Privacy Practices.
9. Marketing, Children, and Third-Party Sites
Marketing. You may opt out of marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing info@ziramedical.com. We may still send messages about agreements and services you receive from us.
Children. The Site is a business site. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through it.
Third-party sites. The Site may link to sites we do not control. This policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their practices.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. We will revise the “Last Updated” date and, where the change is material or the law requires it, provide additional notice.
